A good effort, however you assume a Trump regime would apply due process and provide humane facilities in the meantime. Not likely. As someone else commented, concentration camps - at best. Or just throw 'em in the river. I would not rule out mass killings and unmarked graves, given the rhetorical and physical violence already demonstrated by Trump cult members.

That said, you are on target that Trump doesn't care about any of this. It's just incendiary noise. Behind the scenes they know it will never fly, and, that they can blame someone else for that failure.
