A "moderate environmentalist" - what an absurd concept. That's like being slightly pregnant, or partly dead, or somewhat kosher.

Labels are distractions from plain simple descriptions. Forget the labels. What is observable is that we are all implicated in a system with a primary purpose of converting healthy living systems - "life on earth" - to non-living material wealth far beyond all need or reason for a fraction of one percent of human beings.

Who is "right" doesn't matter for the most part. Consequences come from what we actually do, regardless of what we say, think, imagine, or believe. A vast majority of us will continue to ignore and deny and obfuscate, or actively perpetuate, conversion of life on earth to dead material wealth for a few. We'll all continue to experience the consequences of that, regardless of what we think 'about' it.
