Agreed, except without the hyper-individualism. The only free community - neighborhood - village - society - has the attributes you describe. But isolated individuals will not survive, that's never worked for any length of time in our existence as a species. Divide and conquer - to our current state of hyper-individualism - has got us into this mess. Rebuilding collaborative communities can help get us out.
