"College ended twenty-some years ago. Aren’t we supposed to grow up now?"

Most men grow older - all of us, in fact. But in our dominant culture, far too few ever grow "up." Adolescent males - regardless of their biological age - rule the world, in recent millennia. And the last thing adolescent males want is any adults in the room. Adults will not sanction adolescent behavior in boys who ought to have become men, but have gotten away with refusing to do so. When a whole culture not only allows but actively encourages endless adolescence, there are consequences.
