FWIW, the military 'pep talk' video is not different from what is done everywhere all the time in typical military training. In the USA I've had it described to me first-hand by among others a young man who had gone AWOL and become a peace activist after experiencing this form of 'brainwashing' in the ordinary USA army. The scripted call & response is the same pattern he described from his basic training onwards.
