Thanks for this. As you say, Adams' case is another example of systemic racism system using "individual racism" to distract from systemic racism. A big bonus for the distraction effort is the amount of attention Adams gets - as an individual - because he's a white male creator of a long-running popular comic strip primarily satirizing dysfunctional white male corporate culture.
