That is indeed a key challenge. Divide and conquer has worked really, really well, over and over, for millennia. And, there are other cultural options in the vast history of our species. Unlikely however that we can get to any of them, or anything close, without full systemic collapse. Can't get there from here in any linear way, and we are addicted to our linear ways.
