The problem with claiming one sociopathic villain is less evil than another is that they're still all sociopathic villains. War is idiotic no matter which villain starts it or which one perpetuates it. All empires have territorial ambitions, that's part of the definition of "empire." China, the USA, and Russia are all well established past, present, and future-would-be empires. Though it appears the MAGA regime is attempting to drastically change how the USA pursues empire.
