Vance is constantly claiming he knows what other peoples' experience is - putting words in their mouths. It's 99% projection, because it always is, when any of us do it. It's a clear warning against giving him any power over others, since he's not interested in their actual experience, and will exercise that power based on his own projections rather than what other people actually want and need.

Here he claims to know the minds of women who give professional careers priority over wife-and-mother. In particular, women who pursue patriarchy-threatening careers - finance, law, politics. A double threat to reactionaries like Vance, since those women are "misbehaving" in at least two domains of their life.

An ultimate irony is watching him rant about how some people ("liberal elites" for example) are trying to control other people's lives and choices by telling them who they should be and what they should want. Which is exactly what he also wants to do - control other people's lives and choices by telling them who they should be and what they should want.
