Walz seems clearly the strongest option for VP, if the plan is to win in November (which I hope it is). He covers by far the most bases, voter-demographic-appeal-wise, for the Dems. He's a straight white non-coastal-elite male who checks a lot of 'progressive' boxes policy-wise. Visually and ideologically a great combo for a woman of color POTUS candidate. That the vulture crapitalists and the tech bros don't like Walz just confirms he's a good choice.

Shapiro would certainly disaffect even more supporters of Palestinian life & liberty than Biden already has - people who would most all vote Democratic, unless they were pissed off enough to withhold their vote, which the Dems cannot afford. And, to be blunt, given the bigotry and racism we know we are dealing with here, a woman of color for Prez with Jew as VP ticket is too risky in our current situation, when all the centrist and/or undecided and/or ambivalent votes are going to matter for who wins.
