We were all going to be middle class or better, and lounging around with masses of free time due to machinery/robots doing all the work, since at least the 1950's. According to popular pundits and culture-ignorant 'futurists' anyhow.

We can see how that worked out... AI will not be different, unless there's full cultural collapse. Our current culture will use AI the same as all the other mechanical and technological tools we've created - to make ever fewer wealhty people more absurdly wealthy.

The second AI 'poem' isn't poetic. It's not even good prose. The first one isn't poetic either but the AI gets a free pass for "having a sense of humor." If it had a stream of consciousness, it might have been saying "dang, I can't do that, but if I just make an intentional mess of it that will be seen as cute and I'll get away with failing at the actual task."

And, a tax would need to be on all companies using AI in whatever ways. Not just "AI companies" as in the ones that produce the tools. Which takes us back to current culture, which is controlled by people who will not allow these taxes to happen.
