Well done again Jan, though you might put your clear and reasoned examples closer to the start, and as someone commented, you lost them at mention of "Nazism" so maybe leave out some of the annoyance and outrage, or leave it to the end. I understand why you experience it, but it may get in the way of people seeing the factual calculations your present.

I commented on the One Earth piece that the common thread in all the so-called "feasible" models is that they're only "feasible" if people in power, and even people in general, suddenly change behaviors in ways that humans empirically never do. Your numbers show the functional results of behavior not changing. Theories and models are worth less than nothing when they ignore socio-cultural factors.
